‘2-TONE GOLD PLATING’

Here we have an Emporio Armani medallion which was originally stainless steel. The customer had a specific idea of what she wanted, so  the medallion was lightly polished and cleaned before the gold plating was started. It was then gold plated in 18ct gold, the medallion was then masked off with certain areas left clear for further plating, then those areas were plated in white gold, bearing in mind this medallion is just over an inch in length, the work was very intricate but the 2-tone gold plating looks quite effective.
